Covenant & Restrictions
COVENANTS AND RESTRICTIONS
The Covenants and Restrictions (CCR’s) is the document that establishes the formal regulation for all of the property in Rose Dhu Creek Plantation (RDC). They restrict its use and govern the conduct and activity of our residents. As a member and owner of RDC, and as explained to you at the closing of your property, each individual must abide by the policies of the association and the conditions imposed by these restrictions.
The CCR’s are filed with Beaufort County and are enforced by the elected Board of RDC.
Most common request are related to new construction, changes to existing home structure appearance, and landscape and all changes need prior approval by the Architectural Review Board (ARB).
Also covered in the covenants is a provision for the maintenance of street parkways, cul-de-sac plantings and general maintenance. This general maintenance is performed by professional insured service companies by approved contract.
The purpose of the Covenants and Restriction is to protect fellow property owner investments by the maintenance of general appearance of the subdivision. They also outline the financial obligation of each owner and the rights which each owner has to take part in the affairs of RDC.
Should you have any questions, please contact the RDC Board via email or by letter. Please allow 10 days from submission to the ARB for review and comment.
