RDC Architectural Review Committee Purpose/Mission To ensure new home Builders and Property Owners follow the processes as set forth in The Design Guidelines & Architectural Review Board Submittal Requirements. This committee’s objective it to assure that the design guidelines are followed with collected appropriate building fees. The ARB Review Committee is expected to give guidance to builders and property owners on such things as new construction lot location, building elevations (home visual style, exterior color sections and selection of appearance enhancements such as shutters, windows, roof material, etc.). That landscaping plans are in balance with the new buildings and enhances the overall beauty and property value of the RDC community.
The committee will meet as needed as a group to review building and land scraping plans. On occasion, builders and /or property owners may meet with the Committee as well to discuss ideas, plans, what’s working and not working, and provide in writing to the Builder and/or Property owner guidance to make adjustments so final plans can be submitted for ARB approval to move on to the next step as outlined in the ARB Design Guide.

The committee is to be comprised of members who have various design skills such as: architectural; building; and landscaping and people with other talents and interests that would add to the strength and purpose of the committee.
The RDC Board of directors will appoint a Chair. The Chair will be responsible for setting meeting schedules, agendas, keeping meetings on task, and communications with builder and property owners. Committee terms are renewable annually.
Architectural Review Board:
The RDC Board will review the qualification of all potential ARB members. Additionally, the committee shall have no less than 3 members, with one year renewable terms.
