More Cleanup Details
RDC Bridal/Walking Paths are closed due to wind and flooding damages from Hurricane Mathew
For safety reasons, please do not use the bridal paths until further notice as they have not yet been cleared of the many fallen and hanging trees and debris. There are dangling branches and cracked trees that will need attention so that the paths can be safely used again.
Sorry I have been out of touch but my business has been impacted by the storm and I have had to deal with that. Tomorrow (Monday) we have a specialty debris contractor starting at the front gate and removing JUST the larger trees and branches in the common areas and easements. They are NOT cleaning up light debris and they are NOT taking residents debris piles to the common collection point next to the pool. This is a 4 phased cleanup:
- Residents can bring all over their smaller debris, branches trees etc…to the lot buy the pool. The POA is paying to have it ground and removed.
- The specialty contractor will come in and remove dead trees, fallen trees, large branches etc.
- Professional Landscape will start Monday or Tuesday doing cleanup of all the roads and aprons of small debris.
- We will contract for the debris to be mulched and hauled off.
I appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work toward resolving this. By the pics floating around social media, we appear to have come out very lucky. Special Thanks out to Billy and Diane Doughty, John Sturm, Lars, George Buckley and so many of you that jumped all over this clean-up at first light after the storm. Please ring me up if I can be of assistance now that VERIZON seems to work!
